Shell, that's wonderful news, not only your doctor but especially your husband. It certainly doesn't help not to have a spouse on board, like a few I could mention.

As well as your memory, I notice an ironic sense of humor in the last sentence!

Sarah

Yes! I was WAITING for a post about memory. Clarity of mind seems to come back first for a lot of people. The upside is, you can comprehend. The downside is, you want MORE, and you want it NOW. That can be managed. I am so happy to hear this.

And, as one whose 'other half' basically disappeared while I trudged through this protocol alone, I can tell you I'd rather have an understanding partner any day. Not having him on board contributed to the problems. Give your husband a hug for me!

I am now on minocycline 100 mg and 400 mg NAC daily. That's what I could get the neurologist to agree to at this point. But I am not concerned now because I was determined to get an appointment at Vanderbilt, which I did. It is set for early December. I am seeing Dr. Sriram. I am sooo happy to be going. I hope that by seeing Dr. Sriram and starting on the complete antibiotic protocol I can show the doctors here that it does work. Just maybe one of them will become convinced!
