I actually took it at 1pm and still woke up shivering. I will try ibuprofen next time and hope this will help better. Still, relying on so many pills is frustrating.

I had my third injection of Avonex on thursday, full dose and experience side effects much worse then the other two times. I am having fever for the last 48 hours, close to 38 or even over 38 degrees celcius, shivering, head aches, bad stomach (can't keep any food). I am taking panadol/ nurofen every 4-6 hours to decrease the fever, but I am not able to get out of bed. Did anyone else experience bad side effects for more then 48hours after the injection?

Dear friends,

I might have a job opportunity in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, however I have no idea how to keep my treatment with Rebif 44 there. Does anyone know?
Thank you so much for your kind help.

Marcia

I would try contacting EMD Serono through their Rebif Support Services. The 800 number is 1-877-44-REBIF (1-877-447-3243). Perhaps they can answer your question.

Hi Marcia,

I live in Dubai since 2007 and the medical services are very good and so are the doctors. The company will provide you an insurance that will fully cover your medication. Getting Rebif in UAE is not a problem at all.

Good luck
