My schedule is often quite demanding--as I know many of yours are. I work Mon-Fri and quite often have events related to work on Saturdays. I have given up my Sunday evening of fellowship with friends because I inject on Sunday afternoon. I generally feel pretty rough through the night, then the hung-over feeling hangs on until Monday afternoon. I would love to be able to spend time with friends again. I am considering adding flexibility to my injection day. Some weekends, I could inject on Friday night since I have no demands on Saturday. Anyone who moves injection day around some?

Hi Kelly, I have exactly the same problem. Very very occasionally I change the day, but I prefer to keep to routine. Also the neurologist is pretty keen that I stick to routine as far as possible. Maybe ask your neurologist for an opinion? Smokey.

I seem to recall reading that it's ok to inject within 4 days of your last injection so you should be fine going from Sunday to Saturday. I double checked the patients guide for Avonex and the only thing I could find was a warning not to inject on two consecutive days. I sometimes switch my injection schedule around to accomodate different activites. I don't think it's a problem in the long run.

Thanks!! I Have been pretty rigid with the schedule, but sounds like a little variance in the routine is acceptable.
