I just switch treatment after advice frm my neuro frm rebif to betaseron since rebif is not reducing the relapz tat I am experiencing nowadays.

It takes a while to get to use to the mixing of the powder in Betaseron. It's much more easier with rebif. hope I am doing the mixing correctly!!![/list]

Hi Siren,
Just curious here, what was your neuro's reasoning to switch you over to Betaseron? I've always thought that the glycosylated forms of Ifn-B would be more effective since they're identical to natural Ifn-B.

Hi NHE,

His reasons is that Rebif is not proofing to be able to control my relapzes since upto this year I been experiencing 4 relapzes already. After rechecking my records again found out that I have been on Rebif for 5 yrs instead of 7 as mentioned previously. Been on it since 2005.It's difficult to keep track of time with MS :(. My neuro has asked me to consider other options like the other CRAB drugs. After going thru the options, I tot since Betaserone is simillar to Rebif and I don't want to make any major changes to my lifestyle, tot I give this treatment a try. Hope this works!! I have try to be positive all these while.....hope the positiveness will still remain. Now to sort out the $$ issue. Betaserone is much more expensive than Rebif.
