Hi

Any of you guys know when Campath is likely to become a licenced/approved treatment in the UK and the US?

Have been reading different dates -- 2010, 2011, 2012 and so on.

Thanks

Camilla

Don't know when they will submit for approval, but I do know that both phase III studies completed enrollment late last year (October or November of 2009).

Are neuros prescribing off label?

Am in the UK and mine seemed a bit reluctant right now. Am checking out CCSVI and will have an MRV Feb!

i mean just what i said... campath didn't make my dizzyness vanish or anything like that. my hope is at least to keep my relapse free for a long time. but i can feel this thing progressing in my head you know?

yes, neuros prescribe it off label. not all off them but a few for sure. in my case, an oncologist friend of mine helped me. the thing is to find a doc wiling to help as i see it.

i think my doc could help anyone interested in a private clinic in Athens. let me know if i can help. i can ask her if you want me to.

I keep getting invalid session when I try to respond, so will keep this short. I think the phase 3 trial for those people who've had ms symptoms for less than 5 years and have not had any other treatment except steroids is due to report in the UK in March/April 2011, and the other in 2012.
