catfreak, I am so glad to read that you are feeling so well. I've been humming, and hawing, over whether to start my tomatoes and such, lest I not be able to care for them. Do you feel up to coming up to Vancouver to help out? Grin.

Opera,

I had my last Tysabri treatment Feb 1st. I got sick again for a whole week again. I did not have a treatment in March or April and no whole week of being sickness. So I am off of Ty and glad I am.

Cat,
Great to hear about how well you are doing! I just planted my garden too and I am thrilled to be able to take care of it now that I feel so much better. May you have even better days ahead!!!!!!!

I went to my Neuro today. He heard Dr Zamboni speak in Toronto and he was excited about how well I am doing. I am still his only stent patient but he has a patient going to Huntsville, AL to a Vascular Surgeon for angioplasty. He believes that patients need to get tested and treated for venous blockage first, because if we go at this with MS first we are going to have the resistance of the neuro community and big pharma (my words) that want the trials or don't want to be a part of CCSVI. I am so glad he is openminded.

I don't have to go back until after my 1 year checkup at Stanford this fall.

So do what Joan says "GO LOCAL and get treated for venous blockages!!!

Great news Cat! How are you doing? We should plan our follow-ups with a few others and have a party!

@CATFREAK

This has nothing to do with treatment and the like. I just have to laugh every time I see your AV.

Oh yeah, I noticed that people seem to have quieted down some on here about how they are doig 3,6,9,12 months after their procedure. Of course I may be looking in the wrong spot too.

I don't want to see the uproar fade out. If you get the chance to continue to spread the word of how you are doing please do. It would be a huge favor for all of us waiting and all of those that don't know of this possibility.

Thanks

Hi Cat! It really is happening. It is so exciting! I am glad you are feeling well! Take care!

Liber8 and Thorny - I will put an update out soon. We don't want anyone to think we disappeared for the wrong reasons, most of us just got busy with other things. I still look around out here, I just don't post much. Soon, really!

@thornyrose
Pretty sure you meant "seize the day", instead of "cease" (which would not be a good thing :D :D !
