To those of you who have had the pressure gradients measured in your IJV's, what were they and when is it considered significant?
In another thread it was mentioned that the pressure gradients measured were not great enough to warrant intervention. This got me thinking about what this means. Will some of you brilliant minds clear this up for me??

There is som basic information on blood flow here:
http://www.cvphysiology.com/Hemodynamics/H010.htm
http://greenfield.fortunecity.com/rattl ... luids_.htm

As far I understand - if pressure gradient is not great enough (for a certain lengh) in the vein then this should indicate no or small obstruction (?) Thats my 2 cents

I had 3 stenoses. Pressure gradients were 6, 5 and 4. I don't have any info about how significant that is.

I should add, I had 4 stenosis. 2 upper, 2 lower. One of the lowers was not associated with a pressure gradient, so it was not stented.
