Hi all,

Finally, I'm liberated in my home town Mumbai, India on 25th Feb at Breach Candy Hosp., back ome on 26 and doing well except some pain in the stented area.

My right jugular vein had a stenosis upper neck area, which is stented with 10*60mm stent.

It cost me approx. rs. 2,75,000- or 6000/- US dollar for the entire process inclusive of MRV.

The doctor who did the procedure on me is now asking for $25000/- for it as someone from outside India contacted him. I paid 1/5 of that to him, so CCSVI causing huge inflation.

Manoj old buddy, all I can say is, "welcome to capitalism". Fortunately for the consumer, this thing called competition will quickly level the playing field, will just take some time. That's unreal how much he inflated it so quickly.

Hi, this is Dr. Khuram Shafiq Khan from Lahore, Pakistan. I am a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist trained from USA and we here, have done quite a good number of venous dilatation procedures, be those balloon dilatations only or venous stentings. We can offer this Rx here at much lesser cost. You may contact via email, kskhanmd@hotmail.com

Don't want to rain on your parade, Doc, but I've heard that westerners are not always made all that welcome in your neck of the woods.
