The MS society of Canada bought the web address in November. That's all. They can build a site, they can forward it to their MS site, and they prevent anyone else from taking the url

that is great news. I see no problem with what they have done . In fact , they have prevented any scammers from getting between ms patients and CCSVI .

This looks promising. The moving van has arrived ...but we still don't know who and when the new people arrive. :D

This made my day .

A .ca-Domain costs about 12 dollars a year.

i hope you are not that nieve to think they bought it for our benifit. if that was the case why did they not admit to knowing about CCSVI to the MSers until the W5 story broke. Don't you think its a bit coincidental. if they cared so much about us why have they not done anything with the page. if they did puchase the domain for the reason you mentioned why did they not mention it to us as a good gesture. why is it that every time they make a statement about CCSVI its peppered with skepticism and negativity.

Markus, excellent point! They bought in November! So, they HAD to know about CCSVI before this. Hmmmm...

Also, if they bought the URL for our benefit, why don't they have something up and running on it by now?

The W5 show aired before 11/23 when they bought the URL.

In their defense, a well thought out and designed website that is fact checked and copy edited can take months to put up. I am a magazine publisher and my website took 6 months to get right.

I can't speak to their intentions, which I wrote earlier could be good or bad, but I understand the necessity for doing it once and doing it right.

yes. they bought it for your benefit. Please read my previous post .

Naive ? Are you kidding me ?

Bottom line . Forget dates of purchase etc. ... what really matters is that this MS Society has reserved an important Internet address that in the FUTURE will allow them to provide direct information to MS people and other interested parties.

I for one , am ignoring all CCSVI stories that involve trips to TIMBUK2.

Best to stick with recognized sources , and medical doctors .

Mr. Success ..... many things ....but certainly not naive.

If the MS society can Fast Track medications for the benefit of MS patients, they could Fast Track funding, websites, and testing for CCSVI if they wanted to.
Fast Forward is a division of the MS society. It's purpose is to Fast Track treatment for MS patients. Oh, yeah, but the liberation treatment in not a medication backed by a pharmaceutical company.
