It's too bad these guys are all neurologists. There should be at least one vascular specialist if they are going to properly evaluate grants to study CCSVI.

I think you are too quick to see negative. Look at the list again. I see vascular, I see radiologists, I see department of surgery. Goodman is a vascular neurologist, Pelletier's research is focused on neuro-imaging, Simon's focus is on imaging as well, etc.

I was wondering about that reply by OC . Looks to me like a broad spectrum of medical professions.

Regardless ......... the procedure is under way. :!:

Now we need to know who the applicants are. :?:

Do you folks think that writing to them would help or hinder the cause?

I am near a few doctors on the list. Do you think it wise to contact them and see if they would be interested in a consultation? I would think they would want a few agreeable participants for their research study.

Suggestions?

Thanks

One of those doctors is my doc. I sent him the Putnam studies and he became instantly more interested. I don't think it is bad to have my doc on this board because he is actually a neuro who has some weight and is actually interested.

wilson, I think a consultation (telephone or in person) would go a long way towards putting a human face on this and representing those who cannot be there. Please keep us posted!

chrishasms -- that's great that you know one of these drs!
