All,
I just wanted to see if there is interest in holding a protest at 10 Downing street to coincide with the huge protest being held in Canada's national capital at Parliament Hill.
This is to protest the governments refusal to look at research into CCSVI.
We need action now as many people can ill afford to wait for years and years.

If we have enough interest, we need to spread the word... lets show them we mean business.

Any ideas will be most welcome... if anyone has high profile friends who can help would be great and if we could get the press interested even better.

MY HUBBY FORGOT TO SAY BEING THE DAY BEFORE ELECTION WOULD CAUSE MAJOR DISRUPTION AS THE MPS ARE IN THEIR CONSTITUENCIES TRYING TO DRUM UP VOTES. WE COULD MOVE THE FOCAL POINT TO THIS GLOBAL PROTEST.

I think you are going about this all wrong, do another petition asking people to not vote for Brown or his party until he changes his stance on CCSVI as till then he does not have the best interest of the people in mind.
If he and his party loose votes it might change his mind, remind people if he does this to people with CCSVI who will be the next to be ignored as he only cares about getting elected.

AS WE ALREADY KNOW PETITIONS DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GOVERNMENT, ALTHOUGH WE WOULD SIGN ANOTHER ONE.
I THINK THERE IS ALREADY A GROUP FOR NOT VOTING FOR GORDON BROWN.
THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO PROTEST AS WELL, A VISUAL SIGHT OF PEOPLE WITH MS AT 10 DOWNING STREET SHOULD HAVE A BIGGER IMPACT THAN A PIECE OF PAPER THAT ENDS UP IN THE BIN.
IF WE CAN GET SOME PRESS INVOLVED ALL THE BETTER
THERE IS A LARGE PROTEST SET UP ON PARLIAMENT HILL IN OTTAWA CANADA AND WE HOPE TO DO THIS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THEM... NO HARM IN STARTING A GLOBAL PROTEST

Just remember there are people that can't make it to the protest due to health reasons or distance and cost so don't leave them out, keep them involved.

I think this protest is a great idea, unfortunately I will not be able to attend. My wife is due to give birth soon and I would like to be there.

I am sure you will understand!!!

my friend is doing the London marathon though and I have asked him to wear the CCSVI T-shirt.

I hope you gain enough support to make this protest possible.

Thanks Badger we all know you would be there if at all possible.
All the best to you and your wife.
This is liva's hubbie, and come hell or high water I will bring her to london on may 5th, even if it is just the 2 of us. We are fortunate enough to be able to go to poland for the liberation but we feel for all those who can not do this, people should be able to get this here in the UK.
Liva(Jayne) is so passionate about this, first time in years i have seen her so positive, it has given her a new lease in life to try to help others.
Hopefully we will get more support, but we need people to spread the news about may 5th, we can pick a time in a bit and decide what to do.

All,
Along with the protest i think it would be a great opportunity for CCSVI awareness. If we can get some leaflets printed, we could hand them out to the public.
Any ideas welcome.

This will then put a positive slant on the event.
