Are stents in the Azygos as risky as in the neck veins?

Post by adamt »

I understand stent migration is dangerous if someone has a stent in their neck veins, but what if they have a stent placed in the Aygos?

As the Azygos vein is near/in line with the spine isnt it safer and not dangerous if the stent migrates?
or would it depend where abouts the stenosis is
