And what a tragic coincidence - they were there to honor the Polish officers who died under Stalin's regime in Katyn'

Our local paper, The Los Angeles Times, has a moving article on this horrific event, and tells the tragic history behind Katyn. Prayers from our house to the Polish nation. The world grieves with you today-
cheer

Oh, my. I just found out here.

There are no words to measure death. And one does not need words. God wanted the people killed in Katyn. God has willed that the nation was reborn in Katyn with the death of those who reached hatred 70 years ago and today.

Thank you all for the prayers and support.

This was indeed a tragic plane crash, but I don't think God had anything to do with it. A pilot chose to land at a fog bound airport even when they had been advised not to. That sounds like human error to me.

But here's something I don't understand, planes land in the fog all the time here in the US. Was the presidential plane of Poland not equipped with radar to land in foggy weather?
