It's a Dutch company Privatescan that starts scanning and treatment, starting May 27th in Dusseldorf, Germany.

They are using the latest 3 Tesla MRI, Doppler and CT equipment from GE.

I'm there May 27th for MRI and Doppler

Are they doing the MRV on 3 Tesla or is it just for the usual cranial MRI?
Do you know why a dutch company does its work in Düsseldorf (Germany)?
Are they also doing a kind of surgery if they find CCSVI?
Do you know about any of the costs?

Thanks!

Frank, from what I can tell, they do ballooning, but no stenting. As part of the package they offer a 6 month follow up. If stenosis has reoccurred, they will repeat the procedure at no extra charge.

Germany very likely because Holland's health care system is public and strongly regulated i.e. little room for private health care.

Apointment for CCSVI test has just been set with privatescan for June 3rd in Dusseldorf, Germany. The sounded like they really knew what they were doing and went to great length to explain what may be expected in the test and procedure.

@Asher: Could you please share the information they gave you about their procedure and costs?
How do they do the diagnosis? 3Tesla MRV? Ultrasound of Jugular AND Azygos?
Venogram?
Did they have training by some of the CCSVI pioneers?

Thanks!

In the Netherlands there is no place to go to, to check for CCSVI or for treatment. Two Dutch companies are providing this service in Germany. The companies are

PreScan http://www.prescan.nl/nl/onderzoeken/onderzoek-ccsvi
They use MRV en Ultrasoud; price 1269 euro

and PrivateScan http://www.ccsvi-online.nl/?gclid=CMDLq ... DgodgkL9JQ
They use MRV, Ultrasound and CT: price = not on website, but it will be close to the price of Prescan (both companies are located in the same city)

Both companies offer treatment; costs +/- 6000 euro's

You can find the phonenumbers on their website; the are able and willing to adress you in Englisch, I'm sure.

Dutch people also visit dr. Simka in Poland, dr. Vogl in Frankfurt, Germany and dr. Beelen, in Aalst, Belgium.

Hello, I am a long time reader of "thisisms" and have just become a member.
I am interested in knowing who has had treatments done at this Dutch clinic in Germany - Privatescan.
I am thinking of getting in touch with them, but would like to first hear from those who have experienced this clinic.
Thank you for your time.
