FlashHack, you seemed pretty willing to be goaded into responding yourself, and with an insult to boot to pretty much ensure that Lyon would respond back.
(Lyon: "Admittedly, once they start it I've been known to trade barbs.")

Think you might have started this one??
(ARRRgh- can't believe I am responding myself, but but had to get this thought out-- it takes two to tango... not even trying to defend anyone here, but don't lay all fault on one person for the lunatic direction this thread has taken.)

Sorry, but "troll" was not an insult, but an internet term:

FlashHack, I was not referring to the word "troll" (not an apt description in this case, BTW) but to the tone of your entire post, which I am sure you can see is indeed insulting ("waste your time","save your energy for more worthy adversaries"). Again, not trying to take a side here, but take a look at the message you sent out and decide for yourself if it is insulting.

I'm open to alternate wording. "Waste of keystrokes..." perhaps?

Lyon, this isn't an attack, just a question.

IF you don't believe in CCSVI - why do you even lower yourself to post on this forum (for something you try to knock at every chance)?

and IF you're not knocking it, and all you're saying is more research needs to be done ... NOBODY here disagrees with that.

and IF you don't believe in CCSVI and you're SO confident in your stance that revimmune or campath or whatever it is you push so hard ... how about we make a little bet now?

Let's say IF CCSVI pans out in the next year ... and you can't go those 12 months without retaliating or attacking someone on this site (or even posting in the CCSVI forum) ... then your wife can't EVER get the procedure?

IF you can do that ... I'll give you the name of a doctor willing to do it at the end of those 12 months. I know of at least 4 right now ... no wait lists, no lines ... no shut down ... have done the procedure.

Ask your wife which she prefers. Crazy chemo ... or a simple procedure. Then we'll talk.

Sorry ... it's put up or shut up time in my opinion ... let us know where you really stand.

Lyon, you causing problems again?? :P

I think we are all very very aware of your stance on CCSVI and whilst we all respect that must you keep challenging the theory??

Even if CCSVI does not turn out to be the big idea that we all hope it is let us live with hope until someone proves otherwise (you don't need to keep raining on our parade, especially in the CCSVI forums!)

We all agree testing and studies are needed but I think we are all pretty much in agreement that we don't want to wait for the procedure as everyday in the world of MS could see us relapse/progress and be left with permanent damage.

LR1234 I humbly disagree with you about the "raining on your parade" part. The CCSVI forum, like any othe forum on THISISMS, is an open forum for everyone effected by MS to discuss ideas and express their viewpoints. The CCSVI forum is not set aside exclusively for any one member or group of members. I disagree with Cheer, Embry, and others on this forum who try to mislead people into believeing that CCSVI's relationship to MS has been proven beyond a doubt and ridicule others who do not follow suit. I disagree with the way they paint good people as conspiarators just because they do not buy into their perception of the facts. Looking at the facts I am hopeful that their may be a connection between CCSVI and MS. If there is a connection I certainly hope that correcting CCSVI will somehow benefit us but as of yet, besides some bloggers and doctors who profess they are here to rescue us from the evil world of big pharmas, neuros, and now celebrities, we just do not know. Until the "liberating" of our veins is proven to benefit us visitors and others who come to this site looking for information are at least owed the oppurtunity to hear opposing viewpoints.

I'm not a doctor. I'm not even hungry, anymore. But for what it's worth: Get Liberated now. Then join the nearest class action. It won't be long, now, and petty people all over will have to find a new way to waste their and everyone else's time.
