My only symptom is that my left leg is pretty useless (which means the right one has also atrophied from lack of use). This was part of a process that started 10 years ago.

But twice in the last few years, for a minute or two, I could walk normally -- perfect balance, swinging my arms, the whole ball of wax. And as suddenly as it started, it went away.

Has anyone who has been liberated had a similar experience prior to their procedure?

If so, did you have any stenosis or was it just an intermittent problem caused by a valve or leaflet? And how did your doctor find and treat that problem?
