neuros expertise?

Post by Bruce11940 »

My freshman year roommate in college went on to become a neuro and I gotta say...not the sharpest tool in the shed. Hell of a nice guy and worked at his studies day n night though.

I keep reading posts saying my neuro said this and my neuro said that, but what we all have to remember that these guys are paid to know the "what" and not the "how".

Most of these guys are well trained diagnosticians not medical model theorists.

Reading TIMS has made me believe that any number of you guys knows more about MS than any neuro I have ever met.

That being said, most neuros I know propmtly eschew the vascular theory of ms but fail to offer up a better explanation.

This is not a rant against neuros, just an ounce of perspective.
BTW, my friend from college said he doesn't see how this fits with MS but at least was willing to concede his own ignorance on the subject.
