... and NOTHING. The Dr., who is well known and knew his way in Zamboni's theory, said there was no stenosis.
So my question is, has anyone had same results but found to be stenosed after?
BTW, he checked th JVs an the Azygous, all three.

And another question, does anybody know how much they charge for a treatment in Sofia Bulgaria?
Thanks,
Eyal, 43 y/o male SPMS diagnosed July 98

Hi there so if i understand correctly that was non invasive without catheter?
And they did not do a doppler??
As Zambon and sclafani et all always say, as long as you don't do the testing with the catheter you will not not for sure....good luck and best

Thanks for all replies,
Coin, it was invasive with a catheter.
and no doppler was done.
I am rather worried, as to CCSVI may not be the problem.
Any comments?

Some MS patients have no blockages/stenoses. They do, however, have problems with the valves in their veins or with flaps within veins that impede blood flow. Dr. Simka in Poland found these kinds of problems in more than half of his patients.

Did your doctor use IVUS (internal venous ultra sound) to check for these problems? In not, important problems may have been missed.

For example, if a valve was normall stuck shut, the catheter would have held it open thereby disguising the problem.

No worries Eyal, someone on here will find some sort of reason why you have no stenosis.

Hi Eyal--
I know who you are, and know that you've been dealing with your MS for many years--and I am sorry for this frustrating experience. This is a serious matter for you.

We are still at the beginning stages. Did your doctor correspond with Dr. Zamboni? There are many things the doctors are learning, as the research goes forward. Maybe have your doctor get in touch with him and share your results. Keep using your art and your voice to get your story out there. Stay strong.
cheer

Thank you all, again,
Here are the answers:
The dr. went from the right groin.
I don't think he had been in contact with dr. Zamboni at all, just read his articles and talked to doctors in conferences.
No ultra-sound was used, what so ever.

Hi, my sister is booked for a CCSVI treatment in Bulgaria this fall...

I would be very interestd in talking to patients from Israel who have had a treatment either in Bulgari, Poland... or anywhere in Europe.

Thanks!
