Roland, did your veins keep closing up each time? I imagine they must have closing up or there'd be nothing for the IR to treat. This sounds like an issue of durability, or possibly an issue of complications, if there was intimal hyperplasia or clotting going on. I don't think we have an answer for durability yet. Maybe high pressure balloons. Maybe stents, in some cases, but that opens the door to in-stent restenosis.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it's really interesting to hear from those who have tried both CCSVI treatment and stem cells. I expect both treatments to continue improving as they are researched.

Hi Cece,

The first 2 times, I didn't have any stents, but my jugulars kept restenosed. The 3rd time, I got 1 stent in 1 jugular and the 4th in the other one. But it kept clotting on different part of the jugulars, not on the stent.

But so far today, I'm good, I haven't worsen for sure. One thing that I am certain is since I moved to Thailand, with lots of sun and higher temperature, I am a lot better than when I was in France where it was pretty cold.

So, since 1 year, I am focusing on improving the damages that I have, and I can say that, it takes time but I am improving and still no relapses. But, for sure for me, staying in a warm country helps a lot, cold is not good. I think that in about 6 months, I will do an MRI, see if I have less white spots.

Roland
