Holly Shean, Start taking these medications.Warfarin-Comunadin,Clopididogrel-Plavix-Aspirin 325mg.Coumadin 5mg,Plavix 75 mg.I wonder what went wrong?And this was prescribed from Stanford medical clinic.Is their a big cover up?or should sue Dr.Dake for wrongfull death.I found her Stanford files with my military files.If my scanner was working I post all the docs from Stanford,I what I found the the code of silence .Mr Dake Tell the truth.All I read is was Holly Was on Coumadin,What about the 75mgs of Plavix and 325 mgs of aspirin.And I have the docs from Stanford.

Leave him be, he lost his wife/love of his life and we lost a very important part of this site. When I cross that bridge I will have commentary on it. He's not incoherent at all, maybe to you but you weren't there, so if it's incoherent perhaps some clarification is in order?

But I have no medical knowledge to understand if these are high quantities of blood thinners and if they are rarely or often prescribed together.

Coumadin - 5mg
Plavix - 75 mg
Aspirin - 325 mg

i feel so bad for you jerkbutt. i hope you can find peace. i do feel dr. dake and other doctors never intend to harm only help. to speculate is one thing but the truth with proof is another. i am in no way saying you should sue him or whoever. i am no dr. and i hope you are wrong about all this and i hope it is grief talking but as much as i want to see ccsvi be the answer we are looking for i also would not want to receive the wrong medications "if" that could indeed have happened. i myself want to say it did not. i'm not familiar with all the details but i know that i heard holly did have other problems that attributed to her death. i would hate to see ccsvi get a blackeye because it really was not the procedure that went wrong and holly was aware of those risk as i was when i had it done. whatever becomes of this if anything--i hope it is made clear-and the media keeps it straight that ccsvi and the liberation treatment was not responsible and it has and is helping a lot of people and the potential that it has and unlocking a lot of questions about ms. myself, i'm pretty bad with this ms. i certainly do not want to die but i fear what my life is coming to if i can't find help more than i do death so i took the risk and sadly i can't see that it has helped "yet" but i'd do it again. i would guess that holly would too had she had the chance. she believed in it and i don't think she would want to see it derailed by wrong press or bad press. as for your question about the meds. "if" there was an error "which i seriously doubt there was" then that's your judgement call not mine or anyone elses. you know the story better than anyone. just for your sake and everyone with ms's sake and of course dr. dake's sake too make sure you have facts not reacting to grief and make sure if it ever gets anywhere that the truth is not distorted by anyone and especially by the nasayers of ccsvi. i never am afraid of the truth-sometimes i don't want to hear the truth because sometimes the truth hurts or may not be what i "want" to hear but i'll take the truth any day before a lie to have my ears tickled. so, if what you are saying is the truth then noone should have a problem with it. but watch that you don't hurt a lot of innocent people includeing yourself and even dr. dake by seeking revenge for your loss and things are getting you to a point where you feel the need to blame someone or something because you can't accept what it is. you need closure and i hope you find it and peace. to accuse anyone falsely is a very bad thing. just so there is truth and proof. then it is what is.

I'm so sorry for your pain and the life-changing event that precipitated it. I can't even imagine what it was like for you to find that info.
I don't have any platitudes to offer, just my sorrow for the loss of Holly.

I am not sure I am understanding what you are saying Jerkbutt. And I am sorry that you are clearly upset and in pain. If I am missing your point I apologise. You seem alarmed that Holly was on three meds following stenting and that this was covered up.

I think this is normal. Not every doctor does it but I think most do. I was on Plavix, aspirin and clexane and many other people on TIMS have reported something similar. I can't see anything sinister here.
