This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

Well this sounds good, BUT :

#1 they talk about "evidence" to support the trials. I was reading an earlier post relating to the CBC The National News Report from Monday Sept 13; one of the "things" that caught my attention was their statement that the CIHR did not understand how improving blood flow could have the effects that it seems to create - less fatigue for instance because no one seems to understand how MS causes this symptom, therefore why would opening veins correct it: cold feet would be another "symptom" but why would opening Jugulars cause the feet to warm up. The CIHR felt there was no "scientific evidence" to support the improvements being reported.
If they don't understand the why or the how, will there ever be "scientific evidence" to support the result ???

#2 the people to be put in charge of the evidencce gathering will be NEUROLOGISTS !!!!! Please refer to #1 !!!!!!!

I feel that we are once again seeing lipservice being paid by our Provincial Politicians who will still be listening to biased researchers just like our Federal Government was similarly hoodwinked by the CIHR Committee and the MS Society.

Question: why does my Wife's MS make me so cynical ?
