I would note that MS involves both a vascular problem and an immune dysregulation.

Is that a statement from science or from politics?

Sounds like a fact, and prolly it isn't a fact but an assertion.

I mean Dake's patients at one year are showing clear mri's. If they were guinea pigs we'd make an argument for ccsvi->ms. We wouldn't need
ms->ccsvi, or autoimmune theories that have never been proven.

Just sayin.

We know some of them are, but not sure if a blanket statement like this can be made.

I was told by Dake that out of 20 MRI's done so far there has been nothing new!!! One patient did however have a slight increase in the size of an existing lesion. Sounds like good evidence to me.
Ashton, I really appreciate your post and admire you. Thanks!

Magoo, I am so thrilled for you. I've not been here for a while, But remember reading your posts a year ago as you went through your procedure etc. It is wonderful to read how well you are doing.
I've just got back from the 1st UK CCSVI conference. It's amazing to see how this journey is developing!
I hope every year goes as well for you as this!
Best wishes
x

thanks much for that info about the 20 patients. Really those one year clear mri's mean more to me than 1000 anecdotes of success.

I'll be glad when Dr. Dake gets back in action (if he hasn't already). It seems like his patients have done the best with long term improvements due to the procedure. Or maybe they're just the most vocal. Either way, he's a smart dude that can only help us learn more about CCSVI and the best ways to handle it.
