This is mail I found in my inbox today, from MSS India. Please note that they are not closed to the idea of ccsvi ...

Quote:
Dear Friend,

FORTIS Hospital NOIDA (Delhi) is organizing a special Seminar on new
treatments, medicines and therapies in MS.

This is at Fortis NOIDA on 13 & 14 November (Saturday & Sunday). It
will be attended by several senior Doctors from all different Delhi
Hospitals as well as a Doctor from Europe.

The detail of the program is attached.
This will be a very useful programme for all those who are seeking
info on all aspects of MS, new treatments, medicines etc.

13th NOVEMBER: The morning sessions on 13th are technical. The
recommended session for patients on 13th is after 3 pm.

14th NOVEMBER:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SESSION STARTS EARLY ON 14th... ALL must be there
by 9.30 am .Therefore; it is recommended that instead of bringing
patients who have difficulties, family members could attend on their
behalf.

We encourage all caregivers, family members and friends of MSp's to
attend on their behalf. In case you have any specific questions,
please note them down so that your caregiver can ask the esteemed
panel of doctors. The session on this day will cover all new &
emerging therapies like 'liberation treatment' (CCSVI), stem cell
research, combination therapies etc.

Although this is not an MSSI organised programme, we would like to
encourage those who want to know all about the latest happenings in
the world of MS research therapies to attend, ask questions, share
experiences & update your knowledge.....

With reference to the above, we would appreciate if you can let us
know What kind of TREATMENT you are undergoing by 11th of this month
so that we can update our National data base….

The urgency is because HO members at Delhi will be able to speak up
on behalf of Chapters and MSPs at this important forum at Fortis on
the 13th and 14th November 2010.

Blossom,

I believe the ICMR does not recognize chiropractic. On the other hand, its not banned to practice ... though I am not 100% sure

I have read somewhere that it was the MS society was the one that actually approached Dr. Sinan to consider CCSVI for Kuwaiti patients.
If that is true then its not that all MSS are corrupt ...
so there are good (like kuwaiti), the bad (like Canada) and the ugly (like German MSS) ...
