Has anyone been treated by Dr. Makris in Chicago? How was your experience? How was his staff at the clinic? :)

David, that's exciting! Did you send everything in to Holly? I know of one other option too in Chicago but between the two I'd go for the one working with Dr. Sclafani. (No surprise, I suppose! PM me if you want the other name too.)

I requested the necessary forms from Holly on the 5th but haven't heard back yet. I don't want to bug her because I'm sure she's busy. I'll give it another day and then email her again.

I like the idea of getting a doctor who was trained by Dr. Sclafani. Also their price seems reasonable and Chicago is only a one day drive from here. What more could I want? :)

How much do they charge- Dr. Markis's center for US, venogram and venoplasty? Does anyone know? Is it $7500 for everything?

Would someone please PM me with both options in Chicago? Got Makris but don't know the other one...and which works closest with Sclafani? Thanks!

bigfoot14, interesting, there is also a lot to be said for a doc with experience as yours has been gaining in the last few months.

Just six months ago, it seemed like we'd never get any interest in CCSVI here in the midwest. Always NY, NY, NY or CA. And now we have choices.
