Yippee! It is over for you. You are tired and finally resting. Good. I am so glad you had those nasty blockages cleared. That is a lot of blockage you had Cece, and in all the important places. Yay for Dr. Sclafani.

BTW, Did you take your shot before you left the clinic? Any other meds from the procedure? Pain pills? Some get headaches.

Be prepared to be sore for a few days. Your veins were stretched, they will feel sore.

Now that it is over you should not feel so stressed and nervous. Enjoy a good dinner and breakfast. Will you stay another day or so and have a follow-up Ultrasound? Will you have your DVD's of the US and procedure?

I received my US DVD's right away. The procedure DVD's and report came in the mail.

Rest and sweet dreams.

thank you all so much

i have received a few awards and a few accolades in my life. Your gift today was humbling, exciting, touching and unforgettable.

i cannot wait to share with my loved ones

sal

It was touching to be able to give it to Dr. Sclafani on behalf of all of us and see his enjoyment of it.

This was the secret project that I had mentioned a week or two ago: a photobook filled with pictures of TIMSers, with messages of thanks. I know I did not reach a fraction of the people who post on this site, what a task.

So now that it is no longer secret, if you are just reading this now or were among those who did not get your picture in on time, send a picture to cece.ccsvi@gmail.com along with a line or two of what you might like to say to Dr. Sclafani. I'm putting together a pdf, I'll send it to the good doctor as an addendum.

(Not that I am putting it together tonight! Tonight I am resting.)

 thanks captboo

now i need advice from those who have been thru this! My neck is getting more sore, how long has that lasted for others who had the very sore necks?

just noticed it is not just the colors that are brighter but whites are brighter as well. No idea yet if my fatigue has been affected, i am tired from the procedure itself.

Sorry, no advice on the neck, Dr. Sullivan was not as aggressive at that time. As far as the colors, just relax and enjoy as we used to say in the 60's.

Cece, I hope you're resting and don't see this until the morning. However, it's so good to see your post I must admit since it means you must be feeling okay! At minimum you must be relieved it's over now.

About neck pain, I can tell you my experience but as you know it may have little or no resemblance to how your body reacts to balloon angioplasty. Plus, I'm the person whose upper left IJV wouldn't give it up (no pop unfortunately).

With that said, my neck pain was maybe 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 the worst) for a week, then 6 the next week, then gradually easing down to 1 today. My procedure was Jan 7.

Have you communicated with Dr. Sclafani about your neck? I'm sure he would want to know if it is serious. Take care.

Patrice

Cece,

So very, very delighted with your outcome. Rest now and I hope your neck pain starts to lessen very soon.

No time to post more than my most awesome best wishes and this tip -- i wish i'd mentioned it earlier for everyone -- whether or not you go for homeopathy, i found that gently applying arnica gel to my neck felt GREAT while it was sore. aside from anything else it might have done it was cool and soothing.

What a weekend! Now your nerves can settle and your mind can settle as you relax and enjoy the rainbow brights and smooth sounds. Sleep well Cece.
