I am desperately wanting to find a doctor in Colorado, preferably in the Boulder, Denver area, who can help with my getting tested for CCSVI and treatment if necessary. I have Kaiser insurance and have not found a Dr. with Kaiser that will even discuss it with me. Can anyone help?

I was diagnosed with MS in August 2010.

Thank you,
Shawn Caroline

Can I get a list for Colorado? I'm in Wyoming, but MN is quite far for this procedure

Sorry to seem like I had any real info. I just PM'd about where I live and that I've been following this for awhile and haven't heard of any doctors here. I just didn't want to say where I live on the thread. I do remember on an early version of the Hubbard map there were 2 IRs in the Denver area listed, but they disappeared. Hopefully someday we'll all have local doctors well-versed in the procedure!

Shawn, I "HAD" Kaiser and fought & fought, but they blew off. You know their slogan ---> THRIVE......What a joke. I flew to http://www.communitycare.com/Practices/ ... /CCSVI.asp and they have very reasonable self-pay fee. I did it and VERY happy I did!! My sister went here ---> http://veincaremn.com/home/ and her insurance covered all but $75.00.

don't speak of ccsvi...speak of the lightedness and pressure in head, ears, etc....they will need to check for blockage...they will find it then they will treat it.

Please think about IVUS in your choice:

My denver dr. even uses needles to open a vein that the wire will not penetrate.
