Where did they do your procedure? What techniques have been used (large ballon, cutting balloon, cutting annulus, stent, etc.)? Did you get a doppler? My IR looked at my IJV and he told me that he would see if the vein wall would be thicker due to scarring.

wouldn't a doppler indicate intimal hyperplasia as well as a clot?? when they do the doppler isn't it to indicate bad flow?? would we have to get a venogram to tell the flow is stopped?? then if we get the veinogram to tell us and if they injure the veins more when trying to correct the problem---where does it all stop---i'm just not grasiping the whole picture here. or am i??

any help???
