Fabulous! I wish the Canadian College of Physicians and Surgeons would listen to Dr. Duncan.

DR. DUNCAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and

beautiful and brilliant, compassionate and classy, daring and delightful, eloquent and erudite, fantastic and fearless, gutsy and grand, hopeful and honest, iconic and incredible, joyful and just, caring and committed, learned and lovely, magnificent, nurturing, open-minded, priceless, queenly, regal, savvy, thoughtful, undeterred, very witty, xcellent, youthful, zealous, and so, so much more.

The next book she writes should be titled, "The History, Politics, and Science of CCSVI -- the fight for diagnosis and treatment."

I hope we can include the word reelected after the election. Minister of Heatlh would also be awesome (although Dr. Carolyn Bennett would also be great in that role and a strong voice for us).

If you want to vote for her, you have to be Canadian, and live in Etobicoke, Ontario. That's the way it shakes out around here. But you can always vote local anyway, and support her leader.

I must declare my bias. When I was born, in Detroit, I was an American. I can still vote in US elections. I have dual citizenship. I have lived here 53 of my 57 years, with a 1-year hiatus in Oxford. My parents came here because of a certain communist hunt, which threatened in very real terms, even though they were as close to communists, as, say, John F. Kennedy was. My father, though, was subjected to a similar witch hunt in Canada, because they said he was too American!

So you can see my bias. I have no problem with Michael Ignatieff, who as far as I know, is also very Canadian.

Soon Steven's pig pen will be Harper's pig patch, if
We don't swig a batch of that Michael Ignatieff.
If we don't hold our noses while he decomposes,
It won't smell like roses, is what I supposes.

:)
