Wishing you more blue skies through the words of Willie Nelson.

Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Bluebirds singin' a song
Nothin' but bluebirds all day long

Never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
(Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see)

Never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
Nothin' but blue skies from now on

Blue Sky

Desert sky immense and blue
You are free and beautiful and we soar with you.
Brave as a sunset streaked red and gold
Remember, we may not fly but we sure are bold.

It matters not a cry or fall
Oh! rushed to the bathroom that untimely call.
What fear to tread too far from home
Worse yet don't leave me all alone.

Desert sky immense and blue
You are free and beautiful and we soar with you.
Brave as a sunset streaked red and gold
Remember, we may not fly but we sure are bold.

Were it possible we could all be there
What a riot for those who would stare.
Imagine a lot like us round your bed
You might just find the legs not lead!

Desert sky immense and blue
You are free and beautiful and we soar with you.
Brave as a sunset streaked red and gold
Remember, we may not fly but we sure are bold.

Others may see our clipped wings with pity
But we all know we sing a perfectly pitched ditty.
Care not a day to grieve
Our hearts will reach you arm and sleeve.

Desert sky immense and blue
You are free and beautiful and we soar with you.
Brave as a sunset streaked red and gold
Remember, we may not fly but we sure are bold.

Dear me, I never thought I'd see Irving Berlin attributed to Willie Nelson!

Oh well, there have been many blue skies.

My favorite is "You're my blue sky, you're my sunny day.
"Lord, you know it makes me high when you turn your love my way."
-guitar player's blue sky, Duane Allman

zinamaria what was that? amazing it was.

Some rain always makes us appreciate the blue skies even more--and helps the flowers to grow. Hope you're blooming again soon.

Bluskey.... I am sending good vibes your way. I hope that whatever MS demons interfering with your life go back to Hades where they belong.

I've been away (and away from the computer) for awhile-- so sorry to read of your trouble, bluesky :( . I am most definitely sending positive energy your way, along with a quote from an old Dire Straits song.
"...I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey
Why worry?
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?"
You have brought blue skies, laughter and wisdom to this forum, bluesky and there are a lot of people here rooting for you! I wish you sunshine and blue skies after the rain-- feel better soon!
