Bluesky, I am sending positive thoughts, healing energy and saying a prayer for you. Get well fast my dear, hospitals are not like being at home. They stink. {{{ gentle hugs }}}

I've been away (and away from the computer) for awhile-- so sorry to read of your trouble, bluesky :( . I am most definitely sending positive energy your way, along with a quote from an old Dire Straits song.
"...I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey
Why worry?
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?"
You have brought blue skies, laughter and wisdom to this forum, bluesky and there are a lot of people here rooting for you! I wish you sunshine and blue skies after the rain-- feel better soon!

great song. I used to try to play that one. :)

when I get down I turn to you and you make sense of what I do I know it isn't hard to say just when this world seems mean and cold our love comes shining red and gold and all the rest is by the way there should be laughter after pain there should be sunshine after rain don't worry be happy why worry now

"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.

I think I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I've been prayin' for
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.

Look all around, there's nothin' but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin' but blue skies

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day."

What a gift -- I saw all the incredible warmth and support here, and I was overwhelmed by the beautiful people here. I feel so lucky to know all of you. I wish I were feeling stronger right now because I would like to write a personal thank you to each and every person who took the time to write to me. Every one is an individual to me, with a background and a story, and I am so grateful to all of you for your support, your humor, your great songs, your poems, your TALENT, and above all just being there. :-)

I am home now, which I like much better. A hospital is overwhelming anyway, but a teaching hospital reaches a whole new level when you get all the excited students who want to see a real live disabled person with MS and practice a neuro exam on someone who fails it.

For instance: "Notice that if we do this, her eyeballs do that -- now, did everybody see that?" And in the meantime I'm trying not to throw up.

Again, thank you to everyone for your warmth and healing energy -- it makes such a difference. :-) I will write more later when I can. And I am returning all the best vibes right back to everyone here, the most wonderful people around! :-)
