There's that "cause" word and "cure" word again.

It's no wonder so many people misunderstand this awful condition.

And still do. As CCSVI is still not recognized around the world "EXPERTS" still cling to the belief that this is an autoimmune disease. But if this discovery can replace the missing myelin it just might be one more step in correcting our problems with this disease/condition.

Yes, with all the cures they keep announcing you'd think that someone would have come up with a cure by now.

I think it is hard to find a cure when the exact mechanism of the cause is not apparent. So, they come out with discoveries to reduce the symptoms.

In MS, myelin in the brain and spinal cord is destroyed. Though HEALTHY human systems have the natural ability to repair myelin damage, in MS where damage occurs, SCARS of hardened sclerotic tissue INHIBIT and/or PREVENT that process from taking place. There is no cure for MS. Myelin loss has also been linked to a number of other neurological diseases including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and depression.
