"The Scientific Committee, in short, finds that:
- There is no scientific evidence on the causal link between CCSVI and MS to justify an interventional study

- It is not justified in conducting a clinical trial on a large number of people without having conducted a preliminary, as scientific practice, experiments with a more limited number of subjects.

- There is no reason to submit a large number of people to potential risks of radiation exposure to invasive procedures such as venography or at risk of other adverse events associated with the treatment of venous angioplasty"

All these people will have their place in history. It is not a pleasant development, but perhaps it will lead to more rigorous limits on the power of fund-raisers. They should not be determining how science progresses or how sick people are treated.

Donate to Brave Dreams. Dr. Zamboni really needs you now.
This unit of entertainment not brought to you by FREMULON.
Not a doctor.

Very sad.

The current economic and financial crisis don't help either.

I would suggest it is the ECONOMY of Italy ..... not Dr.Zamboni's CCSVI discovery that is in difficulty.

Dr.Siskins CCSVI > MS trial now takes the lead. Can Dr.Dakes not be too far behind ?

One day , the Italian people will point with pride ...... to the magnificant discovery made by one of their own.
