Dr Hernandez did another VEIN BYPASS yesterday. This is what Tina wrote to me. It is another reason why Stents may not be a good idea. Just to elaborate, this patient was only able to talk in a whisper before surgery. We talked by phone after my surgery.

"Also, I talked to patient just a few minutes ago. She is doing awesome! Wow what a case, her stent had actually started to come through her jugular Dr. Hernandez was able to see the wires sticking out from the stent. She had NO more internal jugular left, it was a very large stent. He did design a way to access for her to get drainage as she has ZERO before. Dr. H also, went and fix her other side where the stricture was.

Dr. Hernandez invited her husband into the OR before he closed to see what was done. He is a Dr. and was amazed at Dr. Hernandez work and what he was able to do for his wife. Husband VERY happy:-)

Her voice is STRONGER, HAND NO LONGER NUMB, FEET ARE WARM, in very good spirits extremely happy and impressed with everything. Not yet 24 hours since surgery."

He lives in San Diego and works in a hospital in Tijuana. And I would add that the care I received there was the best I had ever gotten. Much better than here in Montreal Canada.
