Follow-up ultrasounds will be available if you've had venoplasty done abroad. But if you're trying to decide whether or not to go abroad and want a diagnostic ultrasound, no such luck.

It's a good development for the safety of people who've had the procedure done and for knowing whether or not the veins have stayed open.
