I heard there is a clinical trial taking place primarily in the UK testing stem cells to treat MS. I believe around 150 patients are enrolled across Europe. I'm curious how that is coming along and if there has been any early information released regarding its effectiveness?

Hi vw,

Have you checked the threads in the Stem Cell forum here at ThisIsMS? Here's a link to that forum:

You could also check out the following link to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol - http://www.brams.org.uk/index.html as they are leading some trials I believe.

the article I read regarding Stem Cell trials in the UK to treat MS is listed below. After reviewing the article, if you stumble on additional information on the trials let me know.
