this is a repeat but at the end gave an update on her.

doctors have said they see improvements . she can blink on command and is responding to questions , things she she hasn't done in years .

And here, on Annette Funicello's website, is a lengthy quote from her doctor (a neurologist?) stating that he now sees clear improvements that may be the result of her CCSVI procedure:

That's good that they updated the show too. The show aired last October, so her procedure was at least more than six months ago. Other than that I don't know. I hope she continues to improve, however incrementally.

Over on facebook, Ms. Carol Schumacher posted that it was 18 months since Annette's procedure. It reminds me of that thread recently about improvements that show up 1 - 2 years post-procedure.
