Re: Goodbye to all that: a short history of CCSVI
That's OK. Truman lost, too. Another exaggerated obit founded on rumour. I think the MSS had spies at Sherbrooke, who were treated well and not mentioned by any speakers.
Shakespeare said "Methinks thou dost protest too much." What could be otherwise scholarly journals, are fouled with tripe like this. Doing studies that conclude that CCSVI doesn't exist. What medieval claptrap. If they don't mind their manners, no-one will ever be able to take them seriously.
It's not news. For example, CCSVI doesn't cause "MS". Even people like Dr. Zamboni have known that all along. About the only folks discussing that are those who have axes to grind and/or get upwards of $500,000 per hundred "MS" patients enrolled. Or some firm ties to the drug industry. That's what's so funny, and at the same time, so sad. They think nobody can see behind the curtain, or see their lips moving. The message is getting very uninteresting, though. Just think of all the money that they make, just from a little propaganda, proving over and over what nobody needs to spend a nickel to know. Yawnnnn...
Don't respond. It just encourages them. ...how can CCSVI cause anything, if it doesn't exist? "Even with a lot of equipment, it would be difficult." This message was brought to you by Jello. Void where prohibited, and you could get a fine.

I'm confused. Are they talking about Tysabri?Rasminsky and terBrugge wrote:Although this controversy has hopefully now run its course, it has resulted in the unnecessary expenditure of significant resources, has tragically aroused false hopes in many, and has resulted in serious side-effects in some and death for others.
