To All -

Marie should be starting to pack her suitcase for her trip to Stanford. We all know the contributions Marie has made to this forum - how many times have we asked her to explain a medical term? - how many times has she found a medical resource to answer our questions? For those of us who have decided to be tested and/or treated - we are fortunate that Marie is part of the "gang".

Thank you Marie for everything! You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you start on your journey.

I have included a link to a video which I thought in some ways mimicked the people on this forum - it started out with Cheer and Marie and look where it is now!

This video was made in the Antwerp, Belgium Central Station (train). On a Monday morning, with no warning to the passengers passing through the station, a recording of Julie Andrews comes on the public address system singing “Do, Re, Mi.” As the bemused passengers watch in amazement, some 200 dancers begin to appear from the crowd and station entrances. Enjoy.

Take care, Marie

I am overwhelmed, I cannot express my feelings for this kind thought..I just got free to look and found this lovely thread; it was like a present! The video is great!

Thank you every one, I am grateful beyond belief to be part of this, and moved to tears that you all wish me well today. Thank you so very much  :D :D :D

And now why I have not been on here today: I AM packing but also had a drama: I have coagulation issues and a routine pre Cali test last week uncovered bad numbers so I had to go to the hosptial this morning for stat bloodwork, not knowing if I was going to get to go. Gee whiz. nothing like last minute extra emergency things to do

My primary care doc was all worried, wanting more tests after the first results...and I'm freaking out

I emailed Dr Dake after we got some of the stat numbers and he said "no problem I'll see you monday" I had an answer from him in about 5 minutes, it seemed as if he was sitting in the sun somewhere waiting for his blackberry to notify him I had a problem just so he could make my trouble go away in moments. What a wonderful, incredible doctor. How does he do it; is he magic?

So this has taken my attention all morning, I am glad to focus on going now--with wonderful gladness in my heart for all the kind wishes, thank you!!
blessings

I floated here on the wings of kindness--I thought of all of you and was again filled with gratitude. You are all my friends, thank you so much.
