Holly at Stanford

Post by Needled »

Hi Holly, Your turn today! Sharon said you had an older computer and she would be checking in for you, so I wanted to make sure have your own cyber waiting room filled with good wishes for you. Good luck with your tests. Here's to Dr. Dake finding your problem and fixing it. We'll be waiting anxiously to hear from you.

Holly, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ken
It would be really nice to be able to put links in here

If I have included a bad link, google the word "Scholar", click link for "Google Scholar". Search for the name of the paper and author in Google Scholar.

Hi guys...I am truly thankful for all your comments and this wonderful forum on TIMS. I have a copycat dx aka double jug high up just like marie and jeff. Talked extensively w/ Dr. Dake have lots to share... I want to gather my thoughts so I can share inan organized manner...

I may have trouble in SSDI funding for the op that was to be today..Dr.D is going to call my provider today directly and see what he can do. may have to wait and try again...good thing AZ to CA is not an expensive trpip and I have my sistre Trudy as room and board...

more later. Holly

Holly...
If anyone can figure out a way to get SSDI to pay for your surgery, it will be Dr. Dake. I am so sorry that you can't have this taken care of right away, but I trust that this will be in your future, and will pray for you (as I know many others are) I hope it was an answer to your search to find your jugular blockage, and to see something that can be repaired in your body. And am also glad that you have family in CA and a support system. Hang in there, and stay strong, Holly-
all the best,
cheer

Wow holly! The same thing? geez. But everyone has something blocking hteir venous system just as Dr Z predicted. that is interesting. can't wait to hear what you can feed back in terms of what you learned.

Everyone askes differnt questions and we all gain from that sharing after the fact. Can't wait to hear your input after you get your thoughts organized.

Holly, knowing what is going on is such a big step. I hope you get to take the next step as easily as possible.

And, not sure if someone already mentioned this, but we really ought to start a pool to bet on the #, location and % blockage of those of us who are about to go :D

I telephoned Holly's sister today to see how Holly was doing. Holly is okay and actually was at the airport waiting for her plane. Her sister said she ended up having a jugular and an asygous vein repaired. I was surprised to hear that bit of news. Things must have changed in the procedure. This should be an interesting story.
