yeah, maybe edit the heading to "FYI Alex's out of office", Mark...it's a bit dramatic with caps and all. I almost had a heart attack...

Alex sure deserves a break. The good doc is out of the country, so she and Angela can get some time off.
cheer

I talked to Alex a few times in the last month and have been waiting on Dake's call. Hasn't come yet. Wondering if we won't hear from him until after Italy or still a chance since he is here this week performing surgeries? Making me really nervous until we talk to him and set a date.

They seemed really swamped, and I think they are only now getting things really organized, regarding scheduling. I originally called in June, did not talk to Dr Dake til August, and didnt get my appointment set up until last week. But my surgery is all the way out in Dec (by my choice) so don't worry about not getting in, I'd say. As of last week the earliest dates they had open where in early Oct.

(And it seemed like they might be preferring patients with symptoms that are being addressed by the procedure (fatigue, heat sensitivity, bladder, brain fog), but don't think that means they are avoiding folks with more severe disability.)
