I'm realy happy you guys are here.

Lr1234 I do not feel like I am progressing at all. In general I feel better because I sleep at night and feel awake during the day. OTOH my course was one of very slow progression. I did not used to be able to see it but at holidays: like "this july I can't walk to the beach even with my cane".

it is not long enough to be sure of anything.

but also that amount of bedrest I had-weeks!- definitely NOT good. No MSer does well on that. I may find I do better in a month or two after being up every day and getting exercise regularly for a time.

Only 50& alive?

Post by Boopieup »

Well that was interesting. Thanks for that post mrhodes40.

That's what I'm talkin' about. I need to know the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Well the family friend who is also an M.D. came by today with my dad. Before that, the home health nurse took some blood. I didn't know this, but my docyor ordered home health for me again. I guess he thought I needed it if I can't get into the car. She said she's going to be relaying what's up with me to my GP doctor.

The family friend/M.D. felt around for pulses in my neck and feet. He couldn't find a pulse on the left side of my neck. Does that mean I am 50% alive and am using 50% of the 10% of brain power that I do have? That would explain a lot if I'm firing at 5%. Geesh. What would happen if I fired at 100%. The next president of the United States? I wouldn't want that job anyway, so don't worry. This same family friend brought homemade, fresh grape juice from his own grapes. The best ever!

Well keep the stories coming. They are helping with my ultimate decision. Like I said, I'm going to get the scans and ask for leg scans too while they're at it.

I do read your posts. A little at a time, but I still read them.

Thank you all again. You too Andrew/Hoosyup.
