Ok. I just had to share this with you all. I stopped to get my mail this morning and struck up a conversation with a fellow dog walker. She mentioned that her and her husband were both physicians. After a bit, I asked what his specialty was... Drum roll... He is an Intervential Radiologist! I asked her to ask him what he thought of this. She seemed really interested and said she was going home to look into it. She even said she might knock on my door if she needed more information. Yeah! I don't know where this might go, but it can't hurt. Yeah! Side note, she was super nice, so at worst, I met a super nice neighbor.

Man, that is awesome. I had some similar things happen to me. Right before I get set to call Dake and get signed up, a friend who I'd not heard from since since school contacted me. He lives 5 minutes from the medical center and I instantly had free food and lodging. It makes you feel like it's happening for a reason! I hope with all my might that we get another interventional radiologist on board. That would be awesome. And all from walking your dog.....

Awesome, I hope it works out ... I had a crazy coincidence (?) with my MS diagnosis, I've linked to it before but it's too apt to not link here:

Zap! Wow! I am going to share that with some friends. I was like you and never would have bought into this type of thing, but really, teapots do happen. Thanks for the new phrase! I have had many, very well timed 'coincedences' in my life and just really don't know what it all means. I just say it is karma, and my oldest sister laughs at me.

FYI "D" is "Merely Me" the woman who interviewed you from MS Central - that was how I met her.

I still see her briefly some mornings, but it is hard to talk with each of our not so well socialized dogs in tow. She helped me find an internal medicine doc and get an appointment. She has also mentioned that one of the docs that works with her husband is looking into this. Right now I am so focused on getting my ducks in a row to go see Dr. Dake that I have not done any more. I am really concerned about how to keep my kiddos all going while I am away and while I am recovering. I will probably be posting a couple of threads asking you guys for some ideas. My hope is to come throught this feeling better enough to be able to follow this up and more. I would love to become active in raising the awareness of this and helping this along!
