My appt is scheduled on October 8 and 9. I am totally scared to death!
I don't really like flying and am really sad about having to leave the children with Grandma.

However, I want to find out if I have a problem that can be fixed!

So for those of you that are praying...I am hoping for a safe flight, something worth fixing, a quick painless surgery, an equally painless recovery, and a safe quick flight back to Texas. Did I miss anything? I hope that isn't too much to ask for. 8)

Heather

Heather,

Good luck with everything. Also you will be out there at the same time as my good friend and his daugther (she's the one with MS). She is a little blond gal of 24 whose name is Erin. They are extremely nice people and I'll ask Tom if he minds if I give you his cell phone. It was good hooking up with Randi out there; comforting if you will. We're all in this together!

Heather,

You are doing this for your kids too. Think of it that way. Because what you find out, may help them some day.

Heather good luck on this new journey to discover what is up with you. Dr Dake has learned with every person so he has experience with us MSers now so that is all good. :D :D

Angela called today to tell me that Canadian film crew was going to be at Dakes office on thurs doing a story about ccsvi. She said that the show was the Canadian equivalent of 20/20. She also said that they may use some/all of the footage for American broadcasting.
Very interesting stuff!

( I told Angela that I would need Dake to send me some cash so that I could go get my hair done for my big debut! But seriously, I may need a new outfit.)

How exciting. Good luck with your procedure and get a mani/pedi while you're at it!

Hey girl...send your hairdresser our way first! The film crew comes to visit our home all day tomorrow. I'm still dusting....

I hate flying, too...and that 11 hour trip to Bologna was a long one. Remember what you're doing this for, and know we are all holding you up in our prayers.
traveling mercies,
Joan

The news about the Canadian film crew touring California for CCSVI is fantastic!

All the best for testing and (possibly) procedure, Heather...
