Rose and Magoo - good luck to both of you as you start the CCSVI journey. No need to worry about the staff at Stanford -- they are incredible --- they will take care of you.
Do you have your GP's on board for when you get home? Remember you need someone for the INR testing.
Keep us updated - are either one of you taking a laptop?

Dear Rhonda and Rose, I don't believe in luck, so you'll have my prayers. Please be aware that there will be some distances involved between appointments in different buildings. If both of you have good mobility, it shouldn't be a problem---there will be plenty of time in between each one. God bless you both.

Rose, are you ready??!! Here we GO!
Early to bed for me so I can get up for an early flight. I have my worst symptoms when I wake up, boy do I hope that improves! I have all my stuff packed and I will be spending tonight hugging my boys like crazy!!!
Thanks for the support and wishes, they mean a LOT!
I'll update as I go. I won't have any results until Monday morning when I have my consult with Dr. Dake. I will be trying to squeeze some info out of the techs on Friday though. Wish me luck :) Surgery is scheduled at 2:00 on Monday.
Thanks to everyone here. You all have made this possible for me. I feel so prepared thanks to everyone answering all of my questions and providing their experiences.
Okay...here I go!!!!!!
Rhonda~
Treated by Dake 10/19/09, McGuckin 4/25/11 and 3/9/12- blockages in both IJVs, azy, L-iliac, L-renal veins. CCSVI changed my life and disease.

To paraphrase Mormiles ..... I don't believe in prayer so I wish you luck!!!

( I am aware of the philosophical contradiction there by the way! )

Anyway, I hope its everything you hope for and that your recovery is swift.

New Thread?

Post by Rose2 »

Jamie, thank you for all positive thoughts, energy, everything.
CRHInv: Sure, I will start a new thread if you think it could help.
I am a little intimidated about how informed all of you are, however, but most happy to share my experiences.
