Thanks, everyone, for your replies.

You've all given me much to think about.

I'm not so sure I'm a good candidate for stenting... maybe balloons, though.

Either way, I think I might call SUNY-Buffalo, if it's not too late, that is. It seems I can never keep up fast enough with things on this forum, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's too late for me to even bother calling SUNY-Buffalo.
