Hello Edser,

Dr. Simka is very nice. Unfortunately (or fortunately) he has a lot of work actually so he doesn't answer mails as quickly as in September when he did my scans. He used to reply me within hours.

He did my scan at the hospital in Tychy but actually he seems to do the examination in Studzionka (located between Pszczyna and Jastrzebie, a bit south from Katowice). So I know only some hotels in Tychy.

Polish taxis are a lot more cheaper than in Germany (and probably in Ireland). Driving to the hospital only coasted for me about 3,20 Euros (4 Zlotys equals 1 Euro). Moreover the taxi drivers are nice, honest and on time. You will find out that these often racist jokes about all Polish being criminals and making their livings in stealing cars are absolutely wrong. People there are very nice, helpful and polite (and even the landscape looked cleaner than in "tidy" Germany).

Especially younger people understand some english whereas the older ones often understand german. But in any case it is good to know some basical polish. People tend to be more open-hearted if you can say hello and thanks in polish.

Hope this helps!

Edser,
I'm also polish and I love my country, but if you have incurable illness such a ms ,our docs treat you terribly  like,"doc,i'm so tired, please help me somehow....oh,you are too fat ,that's why you are tired!" so Simka looks like diamond to me.

Hi Edser,

Erika told us that she stayed at

http://hotelarena.com.pl/arena/index_en.php in Tychy (?)

There is a Hotel in Pszczyna called Hotel Piaskowy. You can look for it by Google.

You will find a train timetable at:

http://rozklad.pkp.pl/?q=en/node/143

You will find a bus timetable from Krakov at:

http://www.rda.krakow.pl/en

I hope that all these informations can help you to plan your travel.

Pepe.
