I agree. I don’t see anything upsetting either. My posts were not written with anger at all. I simply assumed that we were having a conversation amongst adults. Anyway, I’ve moved on, as I don’t sweat the small stuff.

Your warning is noted. Thanks.

How do we get in contact with Dr. Simka? It seems everyone but me has been in touch with him. Would someone print his email for me so I can stop this fruitless search, please.

Thank you. :)

Same day as me @ Stanford! Good luck!

Are you scheduled to have the whole procedure? If so, how did you get scheduled? What did you do to get in touch with Stanford?

Looking forward to your reply.

Ok, I have been misunderstood once again (except by Bob: I am not a Walter Mathau fan, although I do like Jack Lemmon). Anyhow, I am going to stop here, and let the subject lie.

Hi WhyR,

You haven't been misunderstood and I for one, respect your common sense approach on this board. I wouldn't be too concerned about our Canadian friend - she clearly has a few issues. Sniping at others will distract her from the main game, which should be to get CCSVI testing and treatment ASAP.

Also, don't take Bob too seriously - at least you know where he stands and he's always good for a laugh!

Phil

Yes, you think, Bob......I think.

Not Matthau or Lemmon, though. I see you more of an American, Sir Les Patterson - here...............

Hi Colapese:
Sorry that I could not get back to you sooner do to Exmas and all.
I e-mailed Dr Simka on the 11th of Dec. He replied on the 12th. WE stated we would like all tests and precedures on the same trip, if possible as we too have to come from afar(Ont Canada). He again replied on the 18th with approximate date and again on the 24th he said more info would follow in soon. Hope this helps?
Wishing you a healthy New Year.
Diana

Please let us know how you make out - we are also in Ontario, Canada and hoping to be able to book with Dr Simka - any helpful info re travel info and cost would be greatly appreciated :)

hi Brave,

Dr. Simka's email address is
mariansimka@poczta.onet.pl

As far as I can remember from reading somewhere on here, the cost is between 2,500 and 4,500 Euros, depending on if, and how many, stents are needed (stents c.1000 each).

Good luck and happy new year to you.

ps. Dr. Simka can take 2 weeks or more to reply so you need patience too!

Hi Brave

this is what i received from Dr.Simka, hope this helps

Hello,
You are in the waiting list for "the liberation operation". The estimated time of the procedure is March 2010.
We will do our best to make the treatment possible earlier, but actually we receive more requests than we can manage in a proper time. I will inform you about exact time of the examinations and potential operation in 1-2 weeks.
Best regards
