I have RRMS. Diagnosed 3 years ago. I am excited about all the CCSVI. I went to my neuro yesterday. I told him a lot about CCSVI.
He is pretty young and ready to try whatever. He hates big pharmas.
So we downloaded "Doppler guide" made by Dr.Simka and checked
my neck veins. My doctor said he is examining veins for the first time
and therefore we cannot expect any kind of conclusion since we do not
know what is normal and what is pathologic. Anyway we tried.

In supine (horizontal) position everything looked normal. My jugular veins worked pretty well. Vertebral vein system was harder to find but also some flow there.

Then we tested my jugular veins in upright position. In this body position the veins should be collapsed. And they really were. There was absolutely no blood flow. All the blood went through vertebral vein system.

Dr. Zamboni said that he had to check 100 controls to know what is normal. This is probably critical. It would be very important to compile a paper that just describes the normal and pathologic conditions.

And here comes my questions:
- Do you know if there should be some small flow or should the jugular vein be closed completely?

- If the veins are closed completely what is the effect of the stenosis?
They are closed anyway. So the stenosis does not hurt? Or?

I will try to go to Poland to see Dr.Simka.

well, the best way is to ask Dr. Simka when you are there.
Hospital Trinec in Czech Republik is supposed to start cooperatin with him as well - I hope soon.
I do not think stenosis hurts, at least my did not.
