I couldn't wait anymore, so I called the Journal of Vascular Surgery, who directed me to the editors at Elsevier.

They told me that the article should be on-line sometime this week. The original date for publication of the December issue was November 24th, but that was delayed as a result of usual processing delays.

Apparently they've been getting a number of calls about it...

:) Us MSers are hounding them all from all angles:)

MS really has a group of people who are strong willed and fighters. This is why if CCSVI proves to help us it will not be swept under the carpet!

Thanks Tfau!

Well, just a tiny little note about the delay anywhere in the last corner of their websites could've prevented them from the calls. I'm sure somebody here would have found it.

Thanks for calling, TFau!

Hi Lyon:

I specifically asked about the Zamboni article. I didn't realize that it was going to be in the December issue - I thought that it would be published on the "In Press" section, on which they seem to publish every day.

It was the editor at Elsevier who said that it will be in the December issue. He seemed to readily know which article I was talking about.

This delay is just torture. I want to see the paper very much....

The snippets and bits we've seen so far are really so interesting.

I agree!

Wasn't the poster presentation from Lisbon posted on another thread the basis for the upcoming paper? That's the one where Dr. Zamboni found that the stenosis patterns Types A, B, C, and D correlated with RRMS, SPMS, or PPMS. Or was that from an earlier paper? I know he referred to this pattern in earlier papers but cannot remember if he used the Type designation. I think I read everything too quickly.

I sent an email yesterday to the Journal

"Hello JVAS,
What date will the next issue be realeased with the prof Paulo Zamboni article?
Regards"

and got the following reply today
"Dear
I do not have an exact date. It is planned to go online this week.
Please check our website, www.jvascsurg.org for details.
Jessica Brabant
Managing Editor
Journal of Vascular Surgery"

I guess we have to wait a few days more...
