It's good to see a CCSVI article written by a person who lives with MS.

Won't be long before we are all labeled "angry conspiracy theorists actively marching against the evils of the pharmaceutical industry". Lol. Welcome to hot-potatoville. Everything seems to be 100% this way, or 100% that way. Thank God the media can do our thinking for us, we'll see what the media says then make our minds up. I ask the question, if the media doesn't report on something, did it really happen?

My problem is when they come out with reports and I guarantee you it will start with, "A controversial new approach that some are touting as a cure to MS". It's coming, and that IS how they will report it, mark my words. Controversial to whom? The people who disagree with it off the cuff? It's a scientific DEBATE, nothing else. Then the elusive "Some people" will be quoted, then referenced in a blog somewhere with quotes from an online news article, which refers to The Some, which will then be bundled up into ANOTHER blog, as now there are 3-4 "sources" of the info i.e. LINKS, and the hit count goes up and everyone is happy.
Except the patient of course. Their voice is forgotten in the name of "reporting the facts".

Which would be funny (watching the media trip on themselves, chasing their tails like they usually do), if it wasn't SO counterproductive to the needs of the patients. Most of these bloggers are too self important to be of any reference.

Yes, major media may label us, "angry conspiracy theorists actively marching against the evils of the pharmaceutical industry", because if they scanned social media they'd find anger and confusion, but they'd also find scientific debate, and a MS community that supports eachother.

How they label use doesn't really matter, networks, cable new and the like don't move use forward. The new social media, bloggers, posters, etc. moved CCSVI forward and will continue to be the force.
